Change the name of a Project

I need to change the name of a Project. I have searched the manual and nothing comes up.

Any resource available with step by step process to change the name of a Project?

Hi.

Quit Scrivener.
Find your project in Windows file explorer (or use File / Show Project in File Explorer before you quit Scrivener).
Rename the project folder.
Then reload your project by double-clicking the project file in the folder you’ve just renamed. The name will change for that file on its own.

(Be aware that if you linked to this project in other projects, the link(s) will no longer work.)

Thank you for your reply… When I use find project in Explorer, i see a folder named the current project name and within that folder is another folder with the same name and the .scriv extension, which one do I rename?

The .scriv one.
And then double-click the .scrivx file inside it.

That top level folder is YOUR doing. Scrivener doesn’t do that.
You can rename it too if you wish. (If so, the sooner the better, because it’ll forfeit your recent projects list for that one project. – Side effect.)
