Changing from "Annotation" to text

I initially put some text into the body of my work as an “annotation” <cntrl/shift/A>. I subsequently decided to integrate it into the text and couldn’t find a way to “un-annotate”. What I did do was mark/copy/paste into Notepad and then deleted the “annotation” and pasted the text back into Scrivener.

Is there a way to do this from within Scrivener?

Working with annotations (and footnotes) is just like using bold or italics. You can just select the range of text and then toggle “annotation” on and off with the same button or keyboard shortcut.
