Changing italics to underline in Compile

Hi. I’m using Scrivener 3.02 and trying to figure out how to set it to automatically convert all my italicized text to underlined text when I compile my document. It was pretty easy to do that in Scrivener 2, but I cannot figure out a way to do it in Scrivener 3.

You’ll need to edit your compile format (right click or cntrl-click on the compile format name, then choose either “Edit” or “Duplicate and Edit” from the pop-up contextual menu.) When you’re editing the format, click on the Transformations item and you’ll see a familiar pane that will let you force italics to underlines, etc.

I strongly suggest that if you haven’t already, you have a look at the “Scrivener 3 Update Guide for Scrivener 2 Users” (https://www.literatureandlatte.com/scrivener-3-update-guide) It really helped me learn the Scriv 3 compile, which is VASTLY different from Scriv 2.

Hope this helps!
