When editing Styles in a compile format (for Word output), B I U are greyed out and not useable. Not font-specific and happens for fonts where I definitely have bold and italic versions of the typeface.
It is early in the morning. I shouldn’t be stymied like this. Have I just not had enough coffee/tea?
If you want Italic/Bold or other font variant you need to use the dropdown replacing Regular with the font variant of choice.
I suppose the point is that you are creating a paragraph style and those buttons are essentially there for adding a style to a span within a paragraph. Seems logical that in the Compile formatter you shouldn’t be able to do so.
I think if you want underline, you’d have to create the style in the editor and then import it into the compiler.
If what you are needing is to be able to assign, say italic, into a header which will be compiled from the binder title, then I’ll leave it to others to work that one out. Markdown?
