Close Compiling Dialog Manually

I would like the option of closing the ‘compile’ dialog box manually so that I can make changes, save as a preset, compile, then repeat the process.

Then at a later time I can compare my various outputs and see what worked best for a specific scenario.

Right now the compile dialog box closes once I click on compile.

Thanks

Are the changes the sort you can use the Preview compile setting for, instead of saving files or printing? Preview is designed for just this sort of thing, and it doesn’t close Compile when you use it, so you can experiment. It’s also very fast in my experience, better than writing out files and opening them.

But, if you need something special like ePub that’s only going to work for some forms of experimentation.
