I can’t close the interactive tutorial so I can import my books because I don’t want them in the tutorial. No matter what I do nothing works. In such cases, how do I get out of it, please? I’m using Windows 11 and getting very frustrated. Please help me. 2024-12-02T06:00:00Z
Hi Christy444 and welcome to the forum.
You should be able to use Scrivener’s File > Close Project command to see the new project templates panel.
If the File > Close Project command completely quits Scrivener, then you can hold the Shift key on your keyboard while asking your computer to reopen Scrivener.
Holding the Shift key will prevent Scrivener from automatically opening any existing projects, including the Tutorial. Scrivener should load to the new project templates panel instead.
There, you can start a new project or use one of the dropdowns on that panel to access existing projects.
