I’ve taken to using multiple scrivener projects. It seems to suit my way of working and the large size of my book / research (and reduce the drag time / crashes if I have too many items in one folder for Scrivener to cope with). But, I am finding it is very hard to keep track of which project I need to turn to next. In other words, I would like to be able to distinguish one project from another by colour, almost out of the corner of my eye, rather than needing to stop and find the right one, if it is, say, minimised or the project name is hidden behind something else on the screen, or whatever.
One obvious solution seemed to be the option / ability to change the colour of each project, in its entirety. For example, the ‘theme’ project might be purple, the ‘text’ project might be lilac, ‘research’ might be pink. The colours would be in the space behind the icons and in the ruler and above, if that makes sense. Currently, I have a light aqua background for all the projects (plus the white, of course).
I don’t know if this is possible, or desired by anyone else. But it would certainly be nice to have.
Thanks for all the hard work (and I am sooooo looking forward to the release which allows us to drag pages and folders from one project to another!)
