Shortcut cmd+K is supposed to add a link, and most of the time it does, but for reasons I cannot fathom, sometimes it splits the document in two. Anyone know why? Cheers.
Split > at Selection ⌘K
Split > with Selection as Title ⌥⌘K
Scrivener Link > New Link… ⌘L
Thanks for that but ⌘K seems to have two functions: Split > at Selection, and Add Link (Menu–Edit). And this is what the problem is.
I’m guessing you added this yourself, using the process described here, but only did so to the “Add Link…” function, meaning that when that menu toggles to “Edit Link…” the shortcut override drops and reverts back to the default, split.
