Compile Draft Selections

Hi There,

I just compiled my Draft but in the window to the right I see where I seem to be able to select what gets included and what does not. As you can see in the picture I have Rev 1, Rev 2, Rev 3 but I only selected Rev 1 for the compile. I figured if I only checked Rev 1 I would only see Rev 1 in the compile but instead I see all three in the resulting compiled document.

I’m not sure what to make of this.

It seems that by selecting Draft it is implied that everything gets compiled even though the interface seems to allow for flexibility. Is this a weirdness in the program or am I thinking about it all wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Eric

Right next to where you’ve selected “Draft” (in the compile panel), there is a funnel icon. That’s the filter.
It is likely set to “All”.
Turn that off completely.

if off is black not light blue

You are correct. If an item is unticked, it should not compile, else it renders outlining in the Binder useless.
Just ensure the filter funnel is not selected.
In this example, the Manuscript compiles my selected items and the unticked items are ignored.
