In my text, I have some pages with different colors in order to identify some elements.
But I want to compile everything in black for printing.
But it doesn’t work. I specify the formatting (font, size etc…) it’s ok but my differents colors remain in the pdf
Do you have any idea ?
Thanks
Yes, you need to use the Remove text color checkbox, in the General options tab on the right side of the main compile overview.
Text colour, like italics and other inline formatting, have special exclusions for formatting override settings, as in most cases you wouldn’t want the mere act of changing the font and indents or whatever to blow away everything like that, and technically speaking all text is black unless otherwise defined, so any use of the override at all would destroy colors you might actually want. (There are exceptions on some platforms, some understand no color setting at all to be ‘default’ which is usually black, but most word processors set black and treat that as default rather than the other way around.)
