I’ve been having compile issues when trying to export a PDF with Script Mode. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3u88riz9k0wjbde/Annotation%202020-04-21%20171738.png?dl=0
Experiencing the same in 2.9.9.7
Looking for a possible solution for this I find that I posted about it 7 months ago. It’s still happening in Version: 2.9.9.11 Beta (1078406) 64-bit - 14 Oct 2020.
I think it happens when I work between the mac version and the PC version. Specifically, when I open a mac file on a PC and try to compile. Or even when I have a PC version of a file and drag and drop a mac scrivenings into a PC file.
I thought that I could import RTF’s and that did work. But then when I open a mac file on my portable and save, then try and compile on the PC it corrupts the rest of the file (and screws up page numbering).
I would hope that this gets fixed soon given this is a release candidate? I work with a writing partner who is 100% on a mac. I’m 20% on a mac.
This is still happening in version 2.9.9.12. It’s pretty frustrating, and it leaves me with little confidence that when I proof on my computer that it’ll actually compile correctly on any OS.
If you are using Courier Prime, try removing(move into a different folder) the system Courier Prime fonts from the Windows/Fonts folder. Scrivener comes with Courier Prime in its installation folder. Restart Scrivener and recompile again. Hopefully the PDF contents will be as expected this time.
If this helps install the Courier Prime fonts from the Scrivener installation folder.
THIS WORKED! THANK YOU!
SORRY IF I MISSED THIS FIX FROM SOME OTHER THREAD.
