Are there templates I can import for compiling a novel with front and back matter, parts, chapters and sections with dividers available for Scrivener 3 anywhere?
I am on windows but would love if people would share compile formats both in windows and mac versions.
You do not need a template for front and back matter. You in your compile panel can check mark to add folders for Front and Back Matter. The usual section layout for this is As-Is which preserves the formatting for these sections. The default included templates have section layouts that can be assigned to the Section Types Acts/Parts, Chapters, and Scenes. You can duplicate an existing template and tweak it.
I have a series of articles on compiling on windows, but the mac version is very similar. you can look at these and see if they will help. If they are helpful sign up for my newsletter (don’t worry not yet in existence).
