Hello,

I am trying to compile from Scrivener to Word docx to email to my editor. I am using 3.0.2 for a nonfiction. Everything looks good except the last few chapters are only represented by title–no content. I have used Scrivener for several years and have successfully compiled fiction to her. What am I doing wrong? I’m not at my wits end … yet! :smiley:

The missing text is either in a file not included in the Compile contents, or in a file whose Section Layout does not include text.

The contents list is the right-most pane of the main Compile screen. This pane also shows the Section Layouts: make sure the problem chapters have the same layout as the chapters that work correctly.

Also, make sure the problem chapters have the same structure in the Binder. For example, if most of your chapters have subdocuments inside the chapter folder, but the problem chapters just have text directly in the folder, that’s probably the source of the problem.
