Hello community ā I am using Scrivener for Mac, and I am having issues compiling into a manuscript. When it compiles, I get extra pages in the document and lots of extra spacing marked with this symbol # . Is this happening to anyone else? If so, what can be done to correct it? At the moment, I have to go through the compiled document and fix it manually. Very time-consuming.

Have you tried creating your own compile format?
The hashtags are either separators between items in the Binder, or empty line separators where you had double returns in the text.
Section 24.4 in the manual discusses both.
The Edit ā Text Tidying menu includes a command to remove empty lines between paragraphs.
I have, but I find it confusing at times. Clearly, Iām not doing it all correctly, but I will revisit. Thank you for the suggestion
