Compiler formats have disappeared

Two recently created compiler formats have gone missing. The formats were working well but when I came to restart the next day they were gone. Not a problem because I had backed them up by exporting them… except that when I try to import them they do not appear in either Project or My formats. I think this might be a bug because the formats were designed to export my document into an xml file and therefore contained xml in the the section prefix and suffixes, and I notice that Scrivener’s export format is xml. Any advice?

Try selecting different file formats from the top of the Compile window (Plain text, Word etc) - go through each one and see if the formats appear. Formats are tied to particular file types, so it could be that they are just hidden while you have a certain file type selected.
