I used to use Scrivner to make my amazon ebooks 3 years ago. I now upgraded to the new version and the compiler keeps spitting out garbage no matter what settings i use.
It keeps ignoring the original text with bolds etc and gives me pages that are collapsed to fit in a 15 character wide collumn.
The first thing I would do in this case is go through the tutorial on upgrading, which will walk you through the changes to compile, and how to adapt an older project to them with minimal effort.
The project upgrade procedure attempts to preserve your original compile intent as best as it can—generally it does work—but if you don’t use the upgraded compile Format it won’t at all work the same, and I suppose in some cases it may not work well.
