Compiling not including all the pages

Any ideas as to why I am missing pages? I have saved multiple drafts, made new files, and STILL I end up with blank pages. Image 1 shows scriv file plus what the pdf looks like. Image 2 is after copying chapter one to a new file. Not sure how many times this happens overall but it’s at least in 3 dif chapters. If I have to retype everything, I just might throw scrivener out the window.

Yes, I have ideas but you give no usefull info to help you. I am guessing it is your compile settings. Or, as one person had a while back white fonts on white background.

Re look at your compile settings, that you selected all the documents you want, etc. I also have a sense that you would be wise to re look at the Scrivener Tutorial.

I appreciate it. I used to be able to handle things like this but I suffered some pretty hefty cognitive loss a couple years ago and just don’t process like I used to, but you did point me in the right direction. I took it off of dark mode and found there was a font issue. So fixing it now then will return to dark mode. It was weird that it happened within the chapter itself as I don’t mess with font colors, so maybe I hit a shortcut by mistake or something.

The other thing to do is view manuscript in the outliner and add column for include in compile and make sure the checkbox is marked for every document in the manuscript

Go to your Scene starting with “Baker’s eyes…”
In the Inspector, click on the Metadata tab. You’ll find a tick box for “Include in Compile”. Ensure it is ticked.
Anything in the Draft/Manuscript not ticked this way will be excluded from Compile.
To automate this process, add a pre-ticked blank document to the Templates folder and add that each time you require a new scene.
