Compose font and compile font

Hey, guys.

I recently changed from Windows to Mac, and I’m re-learning everything in Scrivener again at the same time that I’m learning the Mac. Forty years PC and now, in my dotage, I’ve changed!

In Scrivener for Windows, I used to be able to compose in one default font, say Comic Sans, but compile in a different default font, say Calibri. I like composing in Comic Sans and have just learned where to find my italics. I have yet to find italics and bold at the same time, but hey-ho.

Now I’m using Scrivener for Mac, and I really am loving it - in the main - but I can’t find how to change the compile font from the compose font during the compile process. I can only find something about overriding the default, but that changes all of my indents and other formatting too.

I don’t use Styles/Sections or whatever they are, I never have, They are the devil’s spawn, and almost as bad as Brussels sprouts. But I did manage to do this in Windows.

If anyone has a quick way of doing it, or even know if it’s possible in the Mac version, I’d be grateful for any help or suggestions.

Many thanks!

Quickest way to do it on the Mac is with the master font override, which you’ll find above the center panel of the main Compile screen.

Aha! I was about to attach a screenshot with a pathetic ‘Where?’, but then I saw it! Thank you! That worked.
