Connection label colors and placement

Hello,

I’m new here but an old time user.
So far I have not found an answer through the search function.

Is there a way to change the color of the connection labels and their position?
It would make life a lot easier. The grey labelling is hard to read when printed.

There are no options that change how these labels look or print.
