There’s a sudden typing lag in my projects. I’m on the Windows platform. My attempts at troubleshooting this failed. Can somebody help?

Have you had a look at your task-manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete) to see if some background process is using up your CPU ?

Vincent_Vincent, right after I posted this question it occurred to me to Exit Scrivener then log back in. Voila! It worked. Problem solved. But thank you.
I have it happen occasionally as well and logging out and back in usually fixes the slowness.
