The export/import function in Scrivener is great for collaboration and editing of sections on a mobile device. Sometimes, it may be more convenient to use simpler editor on exported document, instead of sharing a whole Scrivener project with the mobile Scrivener app.
There has been a wide diffusion of Markdown text editors on mobile devices. It would be very handy if Scrivener could export its RTF documents as Markdown files, and then convert them back during importing.
Compile flattens everything. Export has the advantage of leaving the individual sections separate.
