Hi - The Convert Text command should really be disabled when there’s no document selected, because otherwise there’s no dialog prompt and no operation, and the user is left to wonder what just happened. Particularly if they’re seeing multiple documents selected in the binder sans focus.
- The Convert Text command is enabled, but it’s not going to do anything because the Editor/Outliner pane has focus and there’s no selection within.
