Corkboard index card automatically populates the text in the Inspector Synopsis. Is there a way I can change the index cards to auto-populate the text in the Inspector Notes? If not, I’d appreciate knowing that so I don’t waste anymore time. Thanks, everyone!
No, there isn’t, sorry.
This might be worth looking into. I note the similar “Set Selected Text as Title” command will pull from the inspector (even custom metadata), synopsis or main editor. Given that the primary purpose of the synopsis tool is to give you an area to type up little meta text, notes and well, synopses, rather than merely duplicating content from the book into a small area, this would seem to me an obvious improvement!
Meanwhile though, you can drag and drop the selected text from Notes straight up into the synopsis field without much hassle. I suppose that isn’t what you want if you’re looking for the “grey text” to be this instead of that, though.
Thank you very much. I appreciate the help!
