Simply select a container (like Research) that contains pictures and you should see them come up in the Corkboard in this manner. Naturally, you’ll have to import some pictures into Scrivener first, if you haven’t already.
As Amber says - they are representations of image files. I am toying with the idea of having a way for any file to be assigned an image for the corkboard for 2.0, but have yet to decide on whether it will go in.
