Corkboard questions

  1. On the “features” page of the Scrivener website, there is a photo of a corkboard with the cards arranged vertically, instead of horizontally. How do you arrange the cards to run vertically?

  2. Is it possible to print the corkboard as a single image, rather than as individual cards? That is, I’d like to be able to print out the exact corkboard I see on screen as one page, so I can draw arrows, add notes, etc on a single page. I suppose I could just grab it as an image and print it that way, but I was wondering if there was a command in the app itself.

Thank you!

Hi,

  1. This is a feature of viewing multiple containers on the corkboard. So, select several folders and then click on the vertical arrangement option at the bottom:

  1. There’s no way of doing this other than a screenshot, no. You can either print off individual cards or an outline (just titles and synopses for instance).

All the best,
Keith

Hi Keith,

Thanks for the response! I’ll have to fool around with multiple containers. Right now, my manuscript is just documents (chapters). No groupings or collections. I’ll try it out. Thanks again.
