Hello, I’m encountering a bug with Scrivener 3.5.2 on macOS 26. Whenever I attempt to perform a CMD+Z operation in Composition mode, the software crashes. The undo is done, but the software crashes immediately after. This issue persists across all my projects. But CMD+Z on standard mode works perfectly.
Select the “Blank” template and create a test project somewhere temporary, such as the Downloads folder.
When the project window loads, enter Composition Mode.
Type in “This is a test.”
Press ⌘Z.
If that works for you, then I would look around for elements that are different from your ordinary projects. Settings you may be using, such as backdrop images, transparency levels, even the width of the text column or zoom level might be significant.
