I tried to export a project in OPML format, but it just disappears, and the software closes.
I cannot reproduce this, but there is very little information given about what to do. Here is a start, does this work for you?
-
Reset the tutorial with
Help ▸ Reset Tutorial.... If you haven’t used it recently, you might need to make a new copy. -
Select the Draft folder in the binder.
-
Use the
File ▸ Export ▸ OPML or Mindmap file...menu command. -
For panel options, set:
- Export entire binder: off.
- Titles Only
-
Set a location and filename and click
Save. This should work fine, and if we examine the result in an OPML compatible program (including Scrivener itself, by dragging the file back into the tutorial binder), we should see the desired result.
So the goal now is to—after having run that test to see if you can also export without crashing—modify the checklist to produce one that generates the crash. If you find it impossible to do so with the tutorial, we can go from there.
