Creating custom plugins?

I haven’t been able to find any sort of documentation for third-party tool developers, so my expectations are low, but I figure I’ll at least ask.

Is it possible to extend Scrivener’s functionality by writing my own script or plugin?

L&L does not publish an API, so you cannot create plug-ins for it.

Those two things don’t necessarily follow, but I’ll take the “no” as intended. Thank you.

No. Scrivener has no application-level extension mechanism. If you can’t do it through OS-provided hooks, that’s that.
