Does anyone know of resources for creating text formats in Scrivener that can carry over into Vellum during the compile process? I’m thinking of paragraphs conveying the feeling of emails or text messages.
I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. We do include a Vellum Compile Format, which can be edited in all the same ways as any other Compile Format. For how Vellum handles “non-standard” formatting, though, you’d need to ask them.
It was shown in action on Scrivener’s web session earlier this week, but never explained.
I think the question is, can I apply a scrivener style to some text messages in my manuscript that carries over to vellum automatically the way I can apply a “block quotation” style in scrivener that Vellum automatically recognizes… At least that’s my version of the question!
Have you gone through the Vellum quick-start yet? It discusses style usage, among other basics. (I think the original question was more about how to do something entirely custom that Vellum doesn’t support in their template—I’m not even sure that’s a Scrivener question).
