Cross-referencing

Hi all,

I can see from previous discussions in 2013 that there was some discussion about adding a system to cross-reference internally, such that when one complies, Scrivener replaces cross-reference markers with the page numbers in Word.

Did this ever go into circulation? And if so, how do I make it work? I’ve got about a hundred pages of PhD done and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do cross-referencing quickly :sweat_smile:

See section §10.1.4 of the User Manual, and the Help > List of All Placeholders… menu item. For page numbers and Word, <$p> works but you will need to update fields to get the numbers revealed.
