I’m trying to format Scrivener to have a dark mode.
I’ve seen a ton of screenshots of people doing this. I’m having a lot of trouble figuring out how to set this up as the viewing default, but then having it print / export with black text.
The best way to do this is to use Composition Mode (View/Enter Composition Mode), and then go into the “Compose” preference pane and play the colour settings in the list here, while previewing the results in the background. If you click on “Text Color”, you’ll find an override checkbox that will cause the selected colour to paint the text without actually changing the underlying font itself.
