Scrivener is really great for text writing, but sometimes, MMD won’t fit, so it would be great to enable raw text editing that would get compiled into a long txt file.

You can already compile to TXT. And you can you can always change the formatting settings to use Monaco 10 point with no other formatting. But Scrivener will never enable plain-text-only editing, as it is fundamentally a rich text editor.
