Delete inherited target

Hi! I am using a downloaded template to get myself started with a new project. It came with target of 50k words. I don’t currently require a target and would like to delete this, but no matter what I do the target remains, and remains at 50k.

I’ve done a quick search in the forums and I know how to set up targets, but not delete them. What can I do?

Thanks Katherine, I have set it to 0 words, but the target remains at 50k. . .

I’m obviously not doing it in the right place.

Would really appreciate further guidance. . .

You should be able to set to zero right in the Project Targets window. Click where it says 50,000, change it to zero.
