Disabling Ellipses Substitution For Existing Projects

It would seem that the only way to disable smart dashes and ellipses is with new projects.
Is this correct?
“ Use smart dashes and ellipses in new projects”

I have also checked the followIng:
Disable smart quotes in script mode
Disable smart dashes and ellipses in script mode

and yet I am still getting both smart quotes and dashes and ellipses in script mode.

What am I doing wrong?

Do I have to create a whole new project?

Check the Edit → Substitutions menu.

I found the issue. It was my brain. My brain was issue. It is now…working better?
