Do I have to pay to download the scrivener App on my phone

I have a license for windows, I assumed it would cover other devices such as phones, but paying seems to be only option

You need different licenses for each version (MacOs, Windows and IOS), yes, in order for the developers to maintain them.
I also paid for Scrivener for Windows and then paid another license for IOS, they work differently from what I understood.

Yes, the iOS version for writing on the go is outstanding. But fewer features, esp compiling.
