Does automation/scripting exist in Scrivener for common or user defined tasks?

I’ve searched the manual, and see nothing about it, so I’m going to presume that there is no method of automation or scripting built into Scrivener.

Am I missing it somewhere?

No scripting or macros.
Most people use Autohotkey.

That’s an excellent idea, thanks. I used to use AutoHotkey years ago. Have to brush up on my skills again.
