- Does Scrivener have a dark mode?
- Is there a theme which is sometimes called “old computer” (green text on black)?
Have you tried turning your Mac’s Dark Mode feature on? Or if that doesn’t work, making sure Scrivener isn’t set to override your system setting. §4.3, Dark Mode, in the user manual ought to get you started.
Is there a theme which is sometimes called “old computer” (green text on black)?
Maybe there is, here is the list of themes (on the forum anyway, the wider web has even more) to browse through:
Thanks. Oh for the days when I had a printed manual!
The manual’s print ready.
The question is, what happened to that gorgeous copy you made?
I had to move back to Riyadh. That two-volume copy was quite heavy and I was restricted to only 20 kilos. I had to abandon it in the US. Perhaps a thrifter bought it from goodwill. The days of traveling by ship with very generous cargo policies are sadly gone.
I know how that goes! Most of my luggage was books, but I still had to lamentably depart with so many (RIP, 20 volume OED, whose shipping costs would have covered half a year of rent).
I had the two volume edition they sold with the magnifying glass. Once I was able to read the text without glasses, now the reason I’m asking for Scrivener Dark Mode is purely a vision/accessibility issue. Floaters–if they’re really the issue–disappear when using Dark Mode.
