Download failing

Hi, I’ve tried to download Scrivener several times, using several different browsers, but it continually fails once it hits 100%. The 85mb download takes much longer than it should (up to 30 minutes), and when it reaches completion, an error pops up saying “Download error - file failed to download”.

I then tried other browsers, and received essentially the same error on each try. As a last-ditch effort, I decided to buy the product to see if there was a different download link, but unfortunately, I encountered the same issue.

I’m hoping you might have some mirrors that I can download this from?

This sounds like it might an issue with the post-download virus scanning that your system does. Try disabling your virus scanner, clearing your browser cache, resetting your DNS cache, and trying again.

It’s likely because the file is an executable - but I disabled my Virus scanner, and it downloaded much faster, without fail. Thanks for figuring it out!
