Draft vs Elsewhere in Writing History

My draft folder has 17 documents in it. Some, when I work in them, are counted in the Draft column of my Writing History, and some in the Elsewhere column. I’ve checked Outline view and they’re all listed there. Thoughts?
Thank you.

Are the “missing” documents included in the Compiled output?

I had just checked that, and no. Which leads to a basic question I haven’t found the answer to: Can you change the Compile list without printing or saving it anywhere?

Include the file in the Compile to make its writing history part of the draft’s words.

The General Metadata section in the Inspector lets you see if a specific file is included. That’s part of the “tag” tab.

You can also see this field in the Outline view. View -> Outliner Options, and make sure “Include in Compile” is checked.
