Dragging text from one paragraph to an empty line loses paragraph formatting

Version: 2.9.9.4 Beta (899097) 64-bit - 18 Apr 2020

I have my text set to spacing of 1.0x 0.0/10.0. If I have some paragraphs and I move part of one up into a blank line, the formatting goes to 1.0x. There’s a before and after in the picture. I move it by selecting the text and dragging it onto the new line.

Started with:
I am some text.
I am also some text.

Surprise! I am text.
I. AM. TEXT.

Changed to:
I am some text.
I am also some text.
AM. TEXT.
Surprise! I am text.
I.

Reproduces consistently.

I see this same thing happen in RC4. The only way to prevent this is with a CTRL+SHIFT+V, which is fine if I don’t have specific formatting for the text I’m trying to move.

Make sure the Before and After Paragraph Spacing is set to zero in Oprions -> Editing -> Formatting -> Line Spacing
