Dropbox Import into Scrivener

Whats the best way to insert existing Dropbox folders into Scrivener for projects? I’ve tried the Import function but this only allowed single file import. I next tried drag and drop into Scrivener which caused a large amount of file errors.
Is there a better way? is linking possible to reduce file size for my research?

There are a few separate issues concepts here:

  1. Dropbox

Dropbox has absolutely no impact on importing files. It’s just a folder on your hard drive that is monitored for changes, and those changes are uploaded to a server, or changes are downloaded from that server to your hard drive.

  1. Importing folders

As far as I can tell, you just can’t import a folder at all. You can click on one file, and ctrl-click on another file while selecting which ones to import. Shift-clicking will select all the files between the initial selection and the clicked-on file.

  1. Errors

What errors are you seeing? More information in needed to help with this.

  1. Linking

I don’t believe the windows version has this option, but I could be wrong; I don’t use it on the Mac version either.
