My dropbox files have stopped syncing; caught in infinite sync mode. This seems to be a mac glitch: fileproviderd is using almost 100% of my cpu. And I’m not able to move my Scrivener databases out of Dropbox because it claims they have to sync first. I would like to disconnect Scrivener from Dropbox because that seems to be the source of the problem. But I can’t see how to do that from inside Scrivener/mac. Any ideas?
Scrivener on the Mac doesn’t even know about Dropbox. It simply sees the Dropbox folder as a regular folder on your disk.
So, quit Scrivener. Restart/reconnect Dropbox and see if that helps.
And, if you haven’t already, maybe check the FAQ articles if there’s anything in there for your specific problem, Using Scrivener with Cloud-Sync Services / Cloud Syncing / Knowledge Base - Literature and Latte Support
