I saved my Scrivener work to Dropbox, but find it not!
I am on MacBook OS, is iCloud a reliable place to save my work?

I find Dropbox most reliable. If you put your Scrivener project files there it should remain there unless you have configured Dropbox to keep files in that folder “online only”.
