Edit an existing collection's search settings

Is there a way to edit the scope and criteria for a collection I have previously created?

I am experiencing the strangest behavior here. In the list of documents with matching strings, I am seeing duplicate documents, strange items that appear as numbers in parentheses, “(44)” for instance, missing documents (where I know absolutely that there is a match). Etc.

Some of these matched documents seem to be previous edits of my current manuscript???

Just change it. What you set afterwards (last) should remain.
