English langauge preference in Scrivener?

In System Preferences > Language & Regions on my Mac, I have selected UK English. The book I am currently drafting in Scrivener needs to be in USA English. Is there a configuration setting somewhere in Scrivener that will allow me to select USA English for spelling and grammar checking?

FYI that all my other tasks on the Mac require UK English, so I really don’t want to change System Preferences setting.

Have you tried Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar (cmd-:)?

The drop down box at the bottom allows you to choose a language. (This is a standard Mac function, BTW).
