I keep bumping up against this error message when I go to compile. It has something to do with the images in the document, but I can’t figure out exactly what. It’s usually a problem with only 1-2 scenes, and when I figure out which ones, I can disable them from the compile, and then it works fine.
As far as I know, I’m creating all my images exactly the same way, pasting them in, and 95% of the time it works. The rest of the time… I get this message.
Any ideas?
If you right-click the images in the editor and choose “Edit Image…”, does the image name have any unusual characters? If so, try changing them. Also use Help > Check for Updates to ensure you’re on the latest version of Scrivener, 1.7.3, just in case this is part of an ealier bug that has already been fixed.
If changing the image names or updating doesn’t help, would you be willing to send a zipped copy of the project to windows.support AT literatureandlatte DOT com, ATTN: Jennifer? Being able to test with the project directly helps us identify problems like this a lot faster.
