Error message issue

On opening file Sep2020, I received a “Project not in a recommended save location” message.

Followed the direx, moved the file to my documents folder, opened there.

The Binder files, organized by date, appear in correct sequence. Also, when I open June2020 the content corresponds. Ditto July2020 etc.
,
However, on the very top line where the red/yellow/green buttons appear, every file is now designated Sep2020 proceeded by a Scriv icon with a folded down corner.

What have I done wrong and how do I fix it?

I would help if you could post a screenshot of what you mean.

With ”file”, do you mean a project, or what?

Thank you for taking the time to reply. Here’s the screen shot:

Altho the doc is March 2020, the label at the very top reads Sep 2020——as does every doc no matter which month.

The menus all seem to work well so no problem there.

Hope this is clear and appreciate your help in advance.

The “label at the very top” is the name of the overall project. If you want to change it, you can do so using Finder. (Close Scrivener first!)

Katherine, Thank you!

I have no idea what happened except that as I was maneuvering my way out of the error dungeon, I must have renamed the project. Proving, once again, that Murphy’s Law strikes again. :unamused:
