“I’ve downloaded this several times but get a msg: Installer payload failed. this is likely to due to incomplete or corrupt download file.”
I had previously tried to install the Beta, but turned out to be the expired 29016 build, so uninstalled it.
Suggestions?
Couple of ideas.
Check to make sure the download is complete. Delete any old files by that name, open a different browser than normal, and redownload.
Per answers.microsoft.com/en-us/win … 8bf4f01ad5 reinstalling the installer may fix this error. The page gives instructions and they’re reasonably simple.
