Error When Syncing macOS Scrivener with iOS – Error moving mobile files to project package

Hi, I’ve been working on a project for the past few weeks using Scrivener on the Mac and also on my iPad and iPhone. Yesterday for some reason when I went to sync the mobile changes to the Mac I ended up with this error, Error moving mobile files to project package. I was finally able to move past it, but ran into it again this morning. How can I fix this?

Thanks,
Eric

What method/sync service are you using? Did you leave machines enough time to complete the sync? Did you go thru the sync trouble shooting guidance on L&L’s FAQ web site page and glean anything useful?

Thanks for the response. Yes, I have read through the FAQ on syncing. As for the method, since I’m using both the iOS version of Scrivener and the Mac, I’m using the built-in Dropbox sync. I wasn’t aware of another option. I have my Scrivener project file in the Dropbox Apps folder. On the Mac every time you hit save, Dropbox automatically syncs the changes. On iOS of course you have to manually make it a point to sync which I do. Dropbox on my Mac has all of the latest changes, but for some reason I keep getting this same error. After it fails, Scrivener prompts me again that there are mobile changes to sync, and when I click “Sync Now” it goes through the whole process of trying to sync and failing again. This keeps repeating.

I believe I have it fixed. I went through the package contents of my Scrivener project and located the mobile changes under the Mobile folder in Files>Data and applied them manually in Scrivener. I’m not getting the error and everything appears synced. Thanks for your help.
