Would someone be kind enough to tell me how I can exclude a document from the project’s overall statistical word-count?
I have a document that is used purely as an outline of the main story, but the words within it seem to be getting added to the word count of my main manuscript, which I don’t want.

The Project Statistics feature only includes documents within the Draft/Manuscript folder, so you could move the document outside of that folder. It’s a good habit to keep any documents that you don’t intend to compile outside of the Draft folder anyways, so you can have a better idea of how much work you’ve done on the actual manuscript vs. research, brainstorming, outlining, etc. Plus you’ll avoid having stray documents of that ilk in your manuscript output when the time comes to compile.
